FAQ’s
Registration Heading link
Override Request
Please email biosciadvising@uic.edu with your full Name, UIN, and class details. Our advisors will provide an override for that class which will allow you to register.
What if the course I want if full?
Unfortunately, we cannot do anything if the course you desire is currently full. However, advisors recommend that you check into the registration website everyday (until 2 weeks into the semester) to see if anyone has dropped the course, thus opening another spot to allow you to properly register.
How do I know if my credits transfer over?
If you’re unsure if your credits transfer over and you cannot speak with advisor to ask, you can always check yourself on https://www.transferology.com/index.htm .
First, create a free account on the website. Then, choose the institution you took the course at and put the course number as well. Afterwards, look up UIC in the search bar and the results will let you know if that course transfers over/counts as credit to our University.
