I am a graduate of Simpson College with a double major in biology and Spanish. I am also a recent graduate of the Masters of Biomedical Sciences program at Des Moines University, were I recently defended my thesis on the glycogen metabolism pathway of Trichomonas vaginalis. My major interests in research are identifying pathways within organisms, however I find most scientific research to be intriguing and I haven't narrowed down what I want to do with my next research project.
