Jarrad Hampton-Marcell wins uBiome research grant competition
PhD candidate Jarrad Hampton-Marcell is the joint winner of uBiome's recent public-voted Microbiome Research Grant Competition. He will receive up to $100,00 of uBiome testing kits and full laboratory analysis. A former high school quarterback, Jarrad is seeking to understand how the gut microbiome can influence athletic performance via the mechanisms driving the interaction between microbial metabolism and host response.
