Host: Gabby Nunez-Mir

Abstract: The United States Department of Defense (DoD) administers millions of acres of land largely protected from development that are often very biodiverse. However, DoD lands also have the highest density of plants and animals listed under the Endangered Species Act of any federal land management agency. Sasha Tetzlaff will discuss how he and other members of the Threatened and Endangered Species team at the US Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory use various tools and techniques to conduct multidisciplinary research that directly impacts on-the-ground wildlife management and conservation on DoD installations.
