About
I am a lecturer and coordinator of the BIOS 100 program. I develop and institute the lectures, discussions and laboratories for this ever-expanding majors-level course. I also lecture and coordinate laboratories in two non-majors courses. Both of these courses seek to expose non-science students to the wonders of biology as well as how to review current events and information with a critical eye.
My past research efforts were focused on the early evolution of flowering plants though use of the fossil record, primarily those found in Cretaceous beds of Kansas and Nebraska.
