Rui Gao published in Science

Last week,  the research of Rui Gao and lab was published by the prestigious journal Science and featured on the issue's cover.  Dr. Rui Gao is an Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences and Chemistry. Wei Wang, a graduate student in Chemistry, was the first author.

The cover illustration shows a three-dimensional rendering of a mouse's olfactory bulb, exposing the neuronal wiring that transmits odor information. The lab uses volumetric imaging via photochemical sectioning (VIPS) to enable quantitative mapping of connectivity and molecular landscape in intact tissue.
