Miquel Gonzalez-Meler’s research published in Journal of Hydrology
The peer-reviewed Journal of Hydrology has published Professor Miquel Gonzalez-Meler’s “Seasonality of nitrate sources and isotopic composition in the Upper Illinois River.” Results of Gonzalez-Meler’s research indicated that biogeochemical nitrate reduction and isotopic fractionation occurred within the Illinois River network, affecting both agricultural and urban sources during surface-water transport.
