The University of Illinois at Chicago invites applicants for a joint position at the rank of assistant professor in the departments of chemistry and biological sciences beginning August 2019. We seek applicants with a research record and interest in the area integrating chemical biology and microbiome research. Candidates may hold a doctorate in chemistry, biology or a closely related field. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a full and active program of innovative research and to contribute to the teaching of graduate and undergraduate students in chemistry and biological sciences. Duties:
Will be expected to carry out a full and active program of innovative research and to contribute to the teaching of graduate and undergraduate students in chemistry and biological sciences. Will also guite Ph.D. students in research. Provide service to the University.
