There are many options ranging from academia, to government to industry. It is hard to determine the best career fit without experience in each one. This talk will outline alternative careers to academia for students with a neuroscience background. In addition, I hope to share what a day in the life of a neuroscientist in industry is like at all levels. If you’re looking to understand what non-academic options are available to someone with a neuroscience background or just curious about how science is conducted in a non-academic environment, this talk is for you.
